Hobo and Smudge

Hobo and Smudge have come into us as their owner sadly died. Hobo was homed from us about 4 years ago but Smudge was a stray that turned up and was taken in by Hobo's owner. They have become firm friends, so would like to find a home together. Hobo is around 7 yrs old but Smudge is younger probably around 3yrs. Hobo is a shy character but friendly once he trusts you. Smudge is very friendly and more confident.

Sonny

Sonny is a friendly young cat of around 2 years old. Unfortunately his owner died so Sonny needs a new home.

Mindy

Mindy is back with us for the second time. Her original owner went abroad to live in 2008 and couldn't take her with him.

She was homed with an elderly lady in 2009 but unfortunately the lady had to go into permanent care in 2011 and was not allowed to take Mindy with her. So Mindy is hoping for 3rd time lucky in 2012.

She is a very friendly middle aged cat who just wants a lap to sit on.

14th January - Mindy has been homed.

Bobby

Bobby is a 5 month old kitten he is full of beans and loves to play. He is a very friendly boy with people but plays rough with other cats/kittens. He is used to being with a cat-friendly dog. He was left behind to fend for himself when his previous owners moved away.

28th January - Bobby has been homed.

Sarah

Sarah is a young female cat about 18 months old. She was found straying last summer after having kittens. She is a friendly cat with a gentle disposition.

Lola

Lola is a sweet female cat of 3 years old. She came into us as the result of a marriage break up. She was going to be put to sleep as neither party had the means to keep her.

Simba and Mystery

Simba and Mystery are two 6 month old brothers who must be homed together as they have never been apart. Their previous owner was in accommodation where they were not allowed pets.

They are a bit bewildered at present as they have never been outside the flat they were in, but they are friendly boys once you spend some time with them.

15th January - Simba and Mystery have been homed.

Delilah

Delilah is a pretty female kitten of around 15 weeks. She is very shy and will need a very special owner with lots of patience to bring her around. She gets on with other cats and is very playful with them.

She has made some progress with her fosterer and with continued love and patience she will build up confidence and develop into a lovely young cat.

Conchita, Pancho and Gonzales

These 3 beautiful cats came from the same household. We think they are siblings. However Conchita does not like the boys Pancho and Gonzales very much and so would be better homed by herself. The 2 boys though get on well and would like to be homed together. They are all affectionate cats of about 2 years old.

Dusty

Dusty is a young female cat that was found abandoned with 2 of her kittens Champagne and Charlie. She is a friendly, affectionate cat but does not like other cats so needs to be the only cat in the home.

Rusty

Rusty is a handsome chap of around 4 years old. He was originally taken in as stray. He is friendly but does have an independent streak so would not be good with young children. The person that has taken him in suffers with asthma so can't have him in the house for very long, he has to be outside a lot of the time. Rusty is looking for a cosy home before the winter begins in earnest.

Tammy and Timmy

Tammy and Timmy are 2 lovely, big cats, looking for a new home together. They are 2 years old.

Tammy is a little scared at the moment, Timmy is the bolder one.

Poppet

Poppet was found in a greenhouse with her 2 kittens. They were both very weak and sadly, despite veterinary treatment both died. Poppet is a friendly, young cat and is desperate for attention.

Aria

Aria is a young tabby cat who just appeared in a fosterer's garden, meeowing loudly for food. She was heavily pregnant, so she was taken in to the house. She had 5 kittens who have now all been homed. She is a sweet young cat, not much more than a kitten herself. Probably around a year old. She would best suited to a home without young children.

16th January - Aria has come back to us and so is again available for homing.

29th January - Dusty has been moved to Hereford Adoption Centre.

Smudge

Smudge is another one of our young mothers whose kittens have now been homed. She is quite a vocal, affectionate cat and likes a lot of attention.

22nd December - Smudge has been homed.

7th January - Smudge is back with us, unfortunately her new home didn't work out.

Molly

Molly is a young friendly cat of around 18 months. She was found in a garden with her kittens who have now been homed, she is now looking for a home of her own.

14th January - Molly has been homed.

Sid and Marmalade

Sid and Marmalade are probably about 12 weeks old. Both were over that 'Magic 8 Week Age' when they came into our care consequently they are wary of people. They can be homed separately or together.

If kittens have not been handled before they are 8 weeks old they are usually very cautious of people and need a very patient family to help them gain their confidence.

Clarissa and Isabella

Clarissa and Isabella are sisters around 2 years old. Clarissa has a bit of a squint in one eye and a Christmas tree nose, but has a lovely personality. She is very affectionate and likes nothing more than to while away an hour or two sitting on a lap. If you want a lap cat, then she's the girl for you. Her sister, Isabella, is also friendly but is more active and likes to dance around the garden. They are fond of each other so would like to be homed together.

Breezer

Breezer is a large, chunky male cat who has had a mainly outdoor life and because he was not neutered got into fights with other cats. He has tested positive for FIV.
He is very friendly to people but will need a home where he will not come into contact with other cats.
